This part-time position is responsible for ensuring that online customer orders are processed efficiently and accurately, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. This role involves picking and packing items accurately and efficiently, and coordinating shipments to meet customer expectations. Some customer interaction is necessary for pick-up in-store orders and answering customer questions via phone. Join us in creating a welcoming, service-driven environment where Your Pride is Our Purpose—and help us make a lasting impact at the University of Utah. **Responsibilities** + Retrieve and process customer orders from the online system. + Select items from warehouse or sales floor and pack securely for shipment when necessary. + Prepare shipping labels and arrange for timely dispatch of orders. + Inspect items for damage or defects before packing. + Address customer inquiries related to order status and delivery. + Maintain accurate records of orders and shipments. **Minimum Qualifications** Must be a current University of Utah student. This is an entry-level position. Training will be provided. Demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills and the ability to pass a security clearance is required. Some positions require a minimum of six months cashiering experience. **Preferences** + Must be a University of Utah Student. + Ensure accuracy in order processing and packing. + Efficiently manage multiple tasks and orders. + Familiarity with inventory management software and online order systems. + Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. + Capability to lift and move items as needed. **Special Instructions Summary** **Additional Information** The University is a participating employer with Utah Retirement Systems (“URS”).
