This position is responsible for ensuring the material plan supports the Master Schedule by making sure all planned order deliveries are coordinated, ensuring efficiency and timely production.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Answers for customer satisfaction as measured by delivery performance, late backlog elimination, lead-time reduction and MPS system accuracy and integrity. Delivers support to VS Manager and Master Scheduler in developing and implementing Product strategies to accomplish the goals of the value stream. Coordinates the timely release of work to Machining and Assembly. Creates job packs for S-prod and assembly work orders to ensure timely flow to manufacturing and assembly functions. Reading and interpreting work orders and ensuring accurate documentation of materials. Monitoring work order progress, maintaining efficiencies, and ensuring adherence to deadlines. Generates performance metrics as needed such as average days late, OTD, etc. Resolves backflow issues such as change orders, bone pile and stockroom issues. Demonstrates other related duties as required. Who You Are: You step up to handle tough issues. You partner with others to get work done. For This Role, You Will Need: 2-year degree required or 2-5 years of Planning/Scheduling/Manufacturing experience, with assembly experience preferred. Strong organizational, planning, and decision-making skills. Effective communication with employees, management, inspectors, and customers. Strong computer skills including the use of Outlook, Excel, Access, and Word. The ability to learn Oracle and other business systems rapidly. Legal authorization to work in the United States - sponsorship will not be provided for this position. Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: A basic understanding of Lean manufacturing. Effective leadership and team skills. Develop reports to track critical orders or projects. Understanding or drawings, material requisitions and other technical documents related to assembly.
