Job Title: Order Entry Representative Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Order Entry Representative to join our team. This role involves comprehensive training in a manufacturing environment, gaining a thorough understanding of our products and services, and assisting customers with product selection. The ideal candidate will handle inbound sales inquiries, reach out to existing customers to generate new sales opportunities, and collaborate with our Outside Sales representatives. Responsibilities + Complete hands-on training, including time in a manufacturing environment. + Gain a deep understanding of company products and services, including features, benefits, and technical specifications. + Assist customers with technical information and guidance to select appropriate products. + Handle inbound sales inquiries regarding product details, pricing, order status, and delivery confirmation. + Reach out to existing customers via phone, email, and other channels to generate new sales opportunities. + Enter orders and quotes for stock items, custom-manufactured components, and systems. + Collaborate with Outside Sales representatives on open opportunities within their territories. + Review sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities. Essential Skills + 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or technical environment. + Strong mechanical aptitude or technical inclination, with the ability to understand complex specifications. + Proficiency in computer systems + Flexibility to adapt to new processes, technologies, and environments. + Ability to understand customer needs and communicate effectively. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Attention to detail and accuracy throughout the sales process. + Ability to manage multiple orders and quotes simultaneously. + Use data to identify market trends and business growth opportunities. + Work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects. + Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration. + Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. + Reliable and detail-oriented work ethic. Work Environment This position is based in an office environment, working alongside a team of four other representatives. The standard working hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM. The role includes rotating on-call responsibilities every five weeks for a week, requiring 24-hour availability and potential facility visits for emergencies. The dress code is business casual. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Danielsville, Pennsylvania. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
