Make Your Mark at Prysmian Group - Join Us (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZVx-NAGfjEs&feature=embtitle) **Position Description:** + Will remove material from stock working from order cut schedules and written instructions; spooling and cutting finished cables to length per customer needs. + Visually inspects cable for damages and/or short lengths advising supervision of any deficiency. + Will be responsible to aide in the packaging and lagging of reels in preparation for shipping. + At times will be required to aid in loading truck or be a spotter during loading. + Will perform preventive maintenance procedures, 6S activities and participate in continuous improvement events. + Must always maintain work area in a safe and orderly condition. + Ensure all products meet requirements as defined by the Plant’s Quality Management Systems. + Comply with all applicable safety procedures and ISO14001 EMS guidelines. + Will be required to work overtime as needed. + Other duties as assigned by supervisor or a member of management. **Education:** + High School diploma or equivalent + Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English **Experience:** + Some manufacturing experience or proven/demonstrated mechanical ability. + Must complete on job training (OJT) for specific job classification as required in a timely manner. **Skills/Attributes:** + Must be able to use pneumatic tools, such as air nail guns and hand drills. + Must be able to train for forklift licensed or certification. + Must be able to work independently according to verbal and written instructions. + Must learn basic computer transactions and inputs; must have ability to become certified SAP User. + Must have basic math and communication skills.
