Required Qualifications: Five (5) years of overall professional experience in the engineering field. Five (5) years’ experience in Oracle and/or SQL server database administration and analysis support. Five (5) years of experience working with DoD of Federal IT Systems
Personnel shall be fully trained and experienced with combination of technical skills, knowledge, and personal attributes, including but not limited to the following: Hands on working experience and proficiencies in Oracle database technologies and administration, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, and security management in virtual cloud environments. Proficiency and full familiarity of the Linux/Unix operating system environment where Oracle databases are deployed, including the ability to write and update shell scripts, perform file system management and Oracle database administration tasks and assignments without supervision. Shall have ability to identify, diagnose and troubleshoot performance issues to tune and implement performance-enhancing features. Expertise with Oracle Enterprise Monitoring (OEM 13c) database monitoring, diagnostic, and performance tuning tools. Expert knowledge and practical experience within DoD IT database management technology stacks, responsible for planning and implementing database and/or Application Server implementations. Engineer must have demonstrated experience in planning, implementing and negotiating large sized technology projects in support of business initiatives. Experienced in initiating, planning, mentoring, executing, controlling, and delivery of working projects.
