**Introduction** As an Oracle Record-to-Report (R2R) consultant, your role revolves around configuring, implementing, and optimizing the R2R processes within Oracle Finance Cloud systems focused on General Ledger, Payments, Tax modules **Your role and responsibilities** * Identifying and resolving period-end close issues, analyzing process bottlenecks, and ensuring timely close. * Implementing changes to chart of accounts, accounting rules, and journal entry workflows based on business requirements. * Enhancing reconciliation workflows, automating processes, and improving variance resolution efficiency. * Developing new reports, modifying existing reports, and optimizing report performance for better data insights. * Diagnosing and fixing intercompany transaction errors and improving intercompany reconciliation processes. * Automating variance reporting, creating dashboards, and providing proactive financial insights. * Providing functional support to users, conducting training sessions, and creating user documentation. * Identifying process inefficiencies, documenting procedures, and implementing best practices for improved efficiency. **Required technical and professional expertise** * 5+ years of experience implementing and configuring Oracle Cloud Financials * Strong expertise in General Ledger, Payments, Tax * Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Expert (OCE) certification in Oracle Financials is a plus. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze data and identify trends. **Preferred technical and professional experience** " IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
