Oracle Finance Consultant
CTG is seeking to fill an Oracle Finance Consultant opening for our client in Houston, TX. Location: Houston, TX Duration: 10 months Description: The Oracle Finance Consultant will streamline clients' financial operations through the implementation of Oracle Finance Cloud solutions. This role focuses on designing and configuring Oracle Finance applications to improve data accuracy, reporting, and operational efficiency across the organization. The consultant should be well-versed in industry best practices and ensure that the Oracle Finance Cloud architecture aligns with the client’s business goals and regulatory standards. A deep understanding of Oracle Finance Cloud modules is essential, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Expenses, Collections, Tax, and Oracle Cloud Reporting. Duties: Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Oracle Finance Cloud modules. Analyze client business processes and recommend improvements aligned with Oracle best practices. Configure financial modules to support reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency. Collaborate with business stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into system solutions. Develop and execute test plans, ensuring high-quality system performance and data integrity. Provide training, knowledge transfer, and post-implementation support to client teams. Troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues related to Oracle Finance Cloud applications. Skills: Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Finance Cloud modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Expenses, Collections, Tax, and Reporting). Expertise in business process analysis, financial reporting, and compliance requirements. Ability to design and configure financial systems in alignment with industry standards. Proficiency in troubleshooting, issue resolution, and system optimization. Excellent communication, client-facing, and documentation skills. Experience: 7+ years of experience working with Oracle Finance solutions, including at least 3 years in Oracle Finance Cloud. Demonstrated experience in full lifecycle implementations of Oracle Finance Cloud. Proven track record of delivering process improvements and system enhancements. Experience in managing cross-functional collaboration between IT and Finance teams. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field. Advanced certifications in Oracle Finance Cloud preferred. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
