Primary Purpose of the Role:
Support the Thales business to deliver Oracle and Oracle E-Business lifecycle events (projects, upgrades, changes, etc.) and support of Oracle databases and Oracle E-Business systems

Installation, configuration and upgrading of Oracle server software and related productsEvaluate Oracle features and Oracle related productsEstablish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and proceduresDatabase design and implementationImplement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges)Perform database tuning and performance monitoringPerform application tuning and performance monitoringSetup and maintain documentation and standardsPlan growth and changes (capacity planning)Work as part of a teamPerform general technical trouble shooting and give consultation to development teamsInterface with Oracle Corporation for technical support.Patch Management and Version ControlAD Utilities, Cloning and patching applicationsBackups/Restores/Clones of E-Business and None E-Business systems.SkillsEssential
