Oracle Business Analyst
The Oracle Business Analyst provides functional & technical support in the design, documentation, development, testing, implementation, maintenance & support of Oracle E-Business suite application in Latin-America including those applications that interface into it. This position will be the first contact of the LA Regional Team to provide analysis, implementation and support to local key users and end users of Oracle E-Business Suite. Coordinated by the Oracle leaders and in conjunction with the 3rd party implementation partners and Process distributed team, works with business units and users to understand business requirements, matching those requirements against the standard designs. **In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Supports development, test and production environments. + Act as first level of critical issue for support. Provides special attention during month end close so tickets related to the applications supported by the ASG team are quickly resolved (Oracle, Noetix, etc). + Follow up on the tickets routed to other Tiers until resolution is assured and the regional end users are satisfied. + Compile new requirements of users related to enhancements and report these to the Oracle Program Coordinator jointly with the regional support and maintenance team leader in order to prioritize them and schedule their development. + Participate in the enhancement process helping with discovery and testing phase during promotion process (coordinating testing with key users or requiring parties as well). + Participate in global coordinated testings in the Single Global Instance to make sure that LAM operating units are not affected due to changes in the instance. + Lead small projects related to improvements requested locally. Work with local suppliers if needed and coordinate their work with the rest of the regional LA team. + Translates functional specs and business requirements for technical groups. + Develops and maintains documentation for standards, training and procedures. **Who You Are:** You experiment with a wide range of existing technologies while applying new and emerging options that can improve organizational outcomes. You lay out a detailed schedule and list steps for achieving objectives.
