**About the Role:** Are you a dynamic and outgoing Oracle APEX Developer with a passion for building innovative solutions and collaborating with a great team? Seeking a charismatic individual to join our AIMS project. We're looking for someone who not only has a strong technical background but also possesses the communication skills and positive attitude to support and energize project onboarding and requirements analysis. In this role, you will be instrumental in completing the development of a key application and providing ongoing support across all regional implementations. You will work closely with our team, clients, and subject matter experts to design, develop, and maintain high-quality, efficient APEX-based software applications. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on a critical project. **What You'll Do:** + Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, capture, and translate business requirements into technical solutions. + Design, develop, and implement robust and effective applications using the Oracle APEX tool suite. + Troubleshoot, maintain, and modernize existing applications to enhance performance, functionality, and maintainability. + Communicate effectively with the AIM project team and client project leadership, technical experts, and project managers. + Support all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from initial design through operations, maintenance, and disposition. + Analyze and refactor existing code to apply best practices and improve system efficiency. + Provide essential production support and contribute to the ongoing success of the application. **Essential Qualifications & Skills:** + **Experience:** 2-4 years of hands-on experience developing applications with Oracle APEX (Version 19+). + **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience. + **Technical Proficiency:** + Strong expertise with Oracle 19+ databases, SQL, and PL/SQL (including packages, functions, and stored procedures). + Demonstrable skill with web technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, XML, HTML5, and CSS. + Experience with both API and REST-based Web Services. + Solid understanding of database object modeling, performance tuning, data conversion, and reporting. + Familiarity with version control systems like Git or SVN. **Professional Attributes:** + An enthusiastic, positive attitude, and a superb work ethic. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to engage and collaborate with a diverse team. + Exceptional time-management skills and meticulous attention to detail. + The ability to work independently with minimal supervision while being a proactive team player. **Additional Desired Skills:** + Experience in accounting principles and budget execution especially in a government framework. + Oracle and/or APEX certifications. + Experience integrating front-end web development tools with APEX. + Knowledge of Agile, SCRUM or DevSecOps methodologies. + Prior experience working in a government or public sector environment. + Current U.S. work authorization.
