Position Title: Registered Nurse

Department: Operating Room

Schedule:

32 hours per week

10am-6:30pm plus call time

As a RN at MercyOne, you will:

Provides and directs safe, effective, and culturally-competent perioperative care for pediatric through aging adult patientsKey accountabilities include assessments, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care using critical thinking and evidenced-based practiceAdherence to the Professional Practice Standards as defined by ANAActive participation in quality monitoring and performance improvement activitiesDuring procedures, the nurse will function in one of two roles with distinct competencies applied to each role: circulating nurse or scrub nurse

General Requirements & Education:

Associate's DegreeField Of Study: NursingSpecial Training: ACLS; Basic Life Support.Training Preferred: Baccalaureate in NursingLicensure/Registration: Registered Nurse in Iowa; Registered Nurse in Illinois within 1 year.Experience: No experience required
