Hartford HealthCare network and is the systemrsquos second largest hospitalJob Summarybull Assists with the cleaning and stocking of Surgical Services areasResponsibilitiesbull Facilitates and assists with the admission and discharge process of patients includingtransporting patient belongings arranging patient transportation and completing allnecessary documentationbull Cleans patient rooms and other assigned areas daily which may include butis not limited to collecting and removing trash changing bed linens stockingneeded supplies and sanitizing all surfacesbull Performs daily inventory to ensure clean linen and supplies are accuratelystocked for distributionbull Maintains carts and equipment in clean working condition and stores inappropriate area when finishedbull Provides and follows safe guidelines for transportation and assists nursingpersonnel by performing a variety of assignments that facilitate thecoordination of patient carebull Contributes to efficient departmental operations in order to control cost andinsure productivitybull Other Duties as assignedbull Follows safe guidelines and limitations for receiving transporting and stockingof intravenous IV fluids as related to specified essential job duties Ensuresthat intravenous IV fluids are kept safe and secure have not been tamperedwith and are not expired IntravenousIV fluids are defined as
