Kforce's engineering technology client is seeking an optical test engineer. We are working directly with the hiring manager on this search assignment. you will be responsible for optical characterization and optimization of light control metasurfaces (LCMs). Activities include scripting, data collection, and analysis of key LCM performance metrics in addition to maintenance, development, and validation of test stations. Responsibilities: * Develop, maintain, and extend Python characterization scripts for automated R&D testing of optical metasurfaces * Design, build, and align optical bench setups to extend LCM metrology capabilities * Develop optimization routines to maximize LCM performance * Define and perform QA routines to validate characterization stations * Collaborate with a small team in a fast-paced environment to continuously expand testing capability and inform production of future metasurface generations * Systematically document test results and testing procedures * Present data, methods, and conclusions to the technical and leadership team * Participate in code review process
