**Duration: 5-month contract** **Job Description:** + Perform polarization measurements of individual lenses using the Lens Element Optical Polarization and Retardance Device (“Leopard”) metrology station. + Work in a molecular cleanroom + Handle precision optical components without damaging them + Align components to rotation stage using mechanical indicators + Use custom instrumentation and accompanying analysis software **Experience:** + 2-3 years' experience in optics or manufacturing industry preferred + Experience with optical test equipment such as interferometers, spectrometers, lasers, and detectors + Experience aligning optical systems including laser alignment and centering optical elements to tight tolerances a plus **Skills:** + Good hands-on skills with sensitive / fragile equipment + Good working knowledge of Excel + Able to work independently once trained + Good observation / analytical skills to know if/when something doesn't look right **Education:** + Associate's degree preferred + HS Diploma or GED minimum required with relevant experience **About US Tech Solutions:** US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
