What you’ll do

•    Lead the Optical and Fiber Planning & Design teams, being accountable for the detailed design, implementation, dimensioning, execution and optimization of Optical and Fiber Network networks in Turkey to deliver best class experience. Additionally, ensure that emergency handling for Optical is strictly addressed across all geographies, in a harmonized and effective manner, for the benefit of all customers in Turkey.
•    Manage all the relevant relationships with the local stakeholders in the market and other Vodafone Networks domains, in particular Network Development and Operations, and other teams for the implementation of network capacity management or configuration activities, special projects or the handling of emergency situations.
•    Be accountable for all optimisation activities within Optical&Fiber Networks in the market with a comprehensive performance analysis and improvements plan development.
•    Build the required environment to create an ambitious and high-performance team gradually increasing performance and capabilities while harmonising, and simplifying the Network landscape
•    Drive team resources to truly support Company strategy, support Customer needs and develop their professional skills.

•    Deep operational and Technical experience with ability to manage the execution challenges and specificities
•    Deep experience in Optical and Fiber networks and specific knowledge of in country challenges and objectives, such as capacity, functionality, resilience, vendor footprint, complexity, pain-points.
•    Management of Optical and Fiber Planning team in Turkey

Who you are

•    University degree: telecommunication degree, MBA recommended with more than 10 years of experience and at least 5 years of Team Management Experience.
•    Solid knowledge and experience in Optical and Fiber Networks design, delivery and operations 
•    Robust managerial skills, staffing, leading
•    Operational experience
•    Good stakeholder’s management 
•    Strong performance & customer orientation 
•    Ability to work across multi-functional and cultural boundaries to deliver results/change
•    Great Team Leadership and management to build high performing teams
•    Execution and results oriented.
•    Budget management/execution experience
