Ops Specialist- Project Analyst- Funds Transfer
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Operations Specialist with expertise in project analysis to join the Funds Transfer Department in Jersey City, New Jersey. This long-term contract position involves supporting various phases of project life cycles, including requirements gathering, design, testing, implementation, and reporting. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate completion of project tasks while maintaining high standards of efficiency and collaboration. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with project teams to gather requirements, design solutions, conduct testing, and implement project deliverables. • Develop and utilize advanced Excel tools, including macros and automation, to streamline processes and manipulate data effectively. • Identify and escalate defects promptly, ensuring appropriate communication and resolution to maintain project progress. • Process test scripts accurately and within set timelines to uphold quality standards. • Build constructive relationships with team members and internal stakeholders to foster a cooperative work environment. • Represent the Funds Transfer Department in cross-departmental projects, ensuring alignment and knowledge sharing. • Monitor project risks and challenges, developing timely solutions to keep initiatives on track. • Provide detailed reporting and analysis to support project objectives and team decision-making. • Communicate professionally and effectively both orally and in writing to ensure clarity and understanding. • Leverage project insights to enhance knowledge of Funds Transfer products and processes. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including macro development and process automation. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple priorities effectively. • Excellent oral and written communication abilities for clear and effective interactions and reporting. • Experience in defect management and risk mitigation within project environments. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting. • Familiarity with data manipulation and test script processing. • Willingness to adopt a hybrid work schedule, including three days in-office and two remote. • Knowledge of Funds Transfer processes and project life cycles.
