Job Purpose:

Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment.

Job Responsibilities:

Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:

Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble. Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective partsExamines form and texture or parts to detect imperfections.Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.Repairs or replace defective parts. Installs special functional and structural parts in devices. Lubricates and cleans parts.  Starts devices to test perform

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Minimum 2 years of related experienceStrong customer service and telephone communication skills.Upbeat and friendly personality.Ability to write correspondence.Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.Ability to operate various office machines and computers. o Bi-lingual preferred, but not required (ability to speak Spanish).Proficient in computer applications and software (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).Candidates should have their own tools.
