Position Summary

DaVita IKC is seeking an Operations Deployment Market Manager to ensure successful local adoption of key strategic initiatives, tools, and leadership practices within assigned geographies. This role is critical in translating enterprise deployment strategies into actionable field execution, ensuring that frontline teams are supported, aligned, and equipped to deliver consistently high-quality outcomes. Like a Chief of Staff, this role works closely with the Operations Vice President to translate strategy into action. The Market Manager serves as a trusted partner—connecting the dots across performance, adoption, and field execution—ensuring that operational leaders have the insights, tools, and support they need to drive results at scale.

The Market Manager will work in close partnership with field leaders to embed standard management routines and utilize core playbooks. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-accountability environments, excels at turning insights into action, and brings a coaching mindset to enabling others.

Key Responsibilities

Local Initiative & Playbook Adoption

Drive the successful adoption of IKC-wide initiatives within assigned markets, serving as the primary field-facing deployment lead.

Ensure consistent activation and utilization of standardized playbooks and tools across all care team leadership levels.

Surface adoption barriers and work with centralized teams to adjust implementation tactics as needed.

Management Routines & Leadership Enablement

Partner with the Ops Deployment Strategy Sr. Manager drive adherence to standard management routines (e.g., huddles, 1:1s, performance reviews).

Facilitate competency evaluations with frontline leaders and identify targeted areas for capability development.

Support field leaders in applying best practices that align with executional success in DaVita IKC’s Top 6 key strategies and metrics.

Performance Monitoring & Insight Generation

Monitor key metric performance at the market and team levels, identifying trends, outliers, and opportunities for targeted support

Prepare and deliver performance insights and summaries for Monthly Operating Reviews (MORs) or other business reviews.

In close partnership with the broader DaVita IKC Reporting and Analytics Teams, translate data into actionable “next level insights” that support field leaders in managing day-to-day and long-term performance.

Outlier Management & Escalation Support

Build and execute a structured outlier management model to identify and support underperforming metrics or teams.

Partner with leadership to ensure timely follow-up, clear ownership, and defined support pathways for performance improvement.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred; healthcare, business, or operations-related field preferred.

5+ years of experience in healthcare operations, performance improvement, or program implementation.

Previous experience supporting field teams or managing large-scale change in clinical environments preferred.

Preferred Credentials: 

Prosci Certified Change Practitioner or similar certification is a strong plus

Key Skills

Deep understanding of field operations and performance management in complex healthcare settings.

Strong communication, coaching, and facilitation skills across multiple stakeholder levels.

Ability to interpret and synthesize data into clear, actionable recommendations.

Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite; familiarity with Smartsheet, Power BI, or other performance tools a plus.

High EQ and the ability to influence without authority across field and central teams.

Salary/ Wage Range

$82,000.00 - $121,000.00 / year

If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position. • New York Exempt: • New York City and Long Island: $64,350.00/year • Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $64,350.00/year • Remainder of New York state: $60,405.80/year New York Non-exempt: • New York City and Long Island: $16.50/hour • Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $16.50/hour • Remainder of New York state: $15.50/hour Washington Exempt: $77,968.80/year Washington Non-exempt: • Bellingham: $17.66/hour • Burien: $21.16/hour • Unincorporated King County: $20.29/hour • Renton: $20.90/hour • Seattle: $20.76/hour • Tukwila: $21.10/hour • Remainder of Washington state: $16.66/hour
