The Opportunity Portfolio Manager will lead the intake and coordination of pursuits within the Advisory Strategic Growth team. This role owns the process of organizing, tracking, and prioritizing new opportunities, and supports the development of high-impact submissions tied to our strategic growth goals.
This position combines structured portfolio oversight with hands-on support for selected major responses. It’s ideal for someone who’s highly organized, proactive, and comfortable navigating a mix of planning, communication, and content coordination tasks.

What Work You Will be Responsible For:Opportunity Intake and Advisement
Lead intake for new RFPs, RFIs, and related government opportunities; review key requirements, surface risks, and route to appropriate leads.
Maintain/leverage a central tracking system/CRM (e.g., Salesforce) with status, due dates, key contacts, and team assignments.
Monitor deadlines and internal milestones to keep pursuits on schedule.
Share regular updates with leadership on pipeline status and team bandwidth.
Coordinate support resources.
Collaborate closely with the Marketing proposal team.
Portfolio Oversight & Pipeline Management
Maintain a clear view of active and upcoming pursuits, identifying priority efforts and areas where extra support may be needed.
Develop and refine tools that track metrics like volume, win rates, and resource allocation.
Identify process gaps and propose solutions that improve coordination across the group.
Familiarity with state and federal procurement systems and platforms.
Support for Strategic Opportunities
Provide support on high-value or complex responses, including content development, review coordination, and deadline management.
Lead planning calls, organize inputs from subject matter experts, and help shape the final narrative.
Step in as needed to manage full submissions, especially on short turnarounds or when bandwidth is tight.
Content & Knowledge Management Support
Support the curation of shared materials including resumes, project writeups, response templates, and standard content.
Help strengthen the consistency and clarity of EisnerAmper’s public-sector messaging across written responses.
Build/leverage internal tools to make reusable content easier to access and tailor.
Basic Qualifications:5+ years of experience managing or coordinating public-sector pursuits, preferably in a consulting, grant, or funding-focused environment.
Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
Preferred/Desired Qualifications:Comfortable managing multiple timelines, priorities, and collaborators.
Skilled writer and editor, with the ability to translate technical input into clear, concise language.
Experienced with Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), SharePoint, and tracking tools like Asana or Monday.com.
Familiarity with public funding programs such as HUD, CDBG-DR, FEMA, or ARPA is a strong plus.
Detail-oriented and practical. You can keep people on track without overcomplicating things.
Comfortable switching between portfolio-level planning and hands-on submission support.
Confident working across distributed teams and coordinating virtual meetings.
Proactive and solution-oriented—especially when faced with short timelines or competing deadlines.
