Job Summary
The Ophthalmology Technician - Clinics assists ophthalmologists and optometrists in providing high-quality eye care services to patients in an outpatient clinic setting. This role is responsible for performing preliminary vision tests, collecting patient history, and assisting with diagnostic procedures. The Ophthalmology Technician ensures efficient clinic operations while maintaining patient safety and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications
0-1 years of experience as an ophthalmic or optometric technician requiredExperience in a clinical or outpatient ophthalmology setting preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong knowledge of ophthalmic procedures, vision testing, and eye care practices.Proficiency in using ophthalmic instruments and diagnostic equipment.Excellent patient-care and communication skills to provide clear instructions and ensure comfort.Strong attention to detail and ability to document patient history and test results accurately.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment.Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and ophthalmic documentation systems.Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.Licenses and Certifications
