We are looking for a Specialist or board-eligible ophthalmologist to join North Downs Specialist Referrals (NDSR) in Surrey, UK!

Purpose built multi-disciplinary hospital in attractive area of Surrey. Work alongside ECVO diplomates as part of a wider 12 discipline team. Fantastic facilities including a Zeiss operating microscope, new Stellaris Elite phaco machine, diode laser (laser indirect ophthalmoscope and endolaser), Keeler cryomatic II, on-site ultrasound, MRI, CT, and an extensive in-house laboratory.Excellent transport links including into London and two major UK airports (Gatwick and Heathrow). Flexible rota options available between 3 and 5 days per week.The Team: You will work closely in a team of 2 ECVO diplomates and one ECVO board eligible ophthalmologist, supported by a discipline specific intern, a dedicated nurse, and two nursing assistants. We are specialist led with a wider team across 12 disciplines including surgery, internal medicine, diagnostic imaging, oncology, cardiology, neurology, dentistry, anaesthesia and dermatology. We have a small team of residents, rotating interns and an exceptional RVN, SVN and PCA team to support your service.
Hours: Ideally you would join us on a 4-day week basis (32 hours per week) however we offer flexibility to consider different options including 3 or 5 days per week. The weekend rota is currently 1 in 5 (shared with London Vet Specialists), but for existing ophthalmology patients only (no new cases seen).
