Overview Ophthalmologist - Medical Retina Specialist Cheshire Medical Center – Keene, NH TheCheshire Medical CenterSection of Ophthalmology in Keene, New Hampshire, is seeking afull-time BC/BE Retina Specialistto join our staff. The successful candidate will assume care of patients in an existing general ophthalmology practice with a high demand for retina services from the Monadnock region and eastern Vermont. The ideal candidate will have completed either a medical retina fellowship or a surgical retina fellowship with a primary interest in treating medical retina. Board certification or eligibility is required. Responsibilities: * Evaluate and treat age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, endophthalmitis, vitreous hemorrhage, retinal tears, and other retinal pathology. * Perform procedures including intravitreal injections and lasers. * Provide some general ophthalmology care, general call coverage and also triage ophthalmic emergencies.
