Scripps ophthalmologists and optometrists provide comprehensive eye exams to diagnose and treat a full range of vision and eye problems. Responsibilities include:
Performing patient assessments and technical skills to accurately assess the ophthalmic status of each patient, including emergency procedures and medication administration as appropriate.Educates patients and documents patient interactions.Works with a variety of machinery, including but not limited to OCT, Visual Field, Corneal Topography, IOL Master, Fundus Photos, Pachymetry, Goldman Applanation Tonometry, NCT, Auto-Refract and BAT.Practices infection control.Supply and medication ordering and inventory.This is a full time, benefited position with 8 hour shifts (generally 8am-5pm), Monday through Friday with some Saturdays, at our clinic location in Rancho Bernardo.
