Join Our Vision Services Team as an Ophthalmic Tech I!Are you passionate about patient care and looking to grow your career in eye health? We’re seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to support our eye care team by assisting physicians during appointments and performing diagnostic testing. No prior optical experience is required—we’ll provide all the training you need!

What is Available:0.9 FTE, 36 hours per weekMonday - Friday; typically between 7:30am - 5:00pmClinics this role will cover are: Decorah and Waukon, IA, Prairie du Chien, Viroqua, Hillsboro, Friendship, Sparta, Tomah, Black River Falls, Whitehall, Lacrosse, and Onalaska, WI, and Winona Starting rate of $19.86/hr$1.25/hour float differential

What You’ll Do:Provide technical assistance during patient appointmentsPerform diagnostic testing to support clinical careDeliver a high-quality experience to patients and guestsTravel to Gundersen optical locations including:
Decorah and Waukon, IA
Prairie du Chien, Viroqua, Hillsboro, Friendship, Sparta, Tomah, Black River Falls, Whitehall, La Crosse, and Onalaska, WI
Winona, MN

What You’ll Need:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 2 years of customer service experienceCertified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) certification through JCAHPO within 18 months of hire
