This position will be responsible for the generation of work for the facility, to include automated sectors.  The successful candidate will look at Inbound, and Outbound work in the queue, ensure the work is available to be processed timely and efficiently while balancing KPIs around Automation metrics, Labor, Receipt on time metrics, and Load schedule times. Looking at different systems and reports to understand work available, work incoming and balancing that with the aforementioned KPIs will be a critical part of the role.

 

Position Detail – Responsibilities

Monitor and assess Warehouse Management and Automation Warehouse Control Systems Preparing work plans (Inbound and Outbound) and communicating to the DC leaders. Create, maintain, and correct each wave for parcel, LTL, and truckload shipments. Processing the item shortages for each load to ensure a invoicing happens without issue in PKMS. Coordinate with the logistics team the trailer movements for outbound and inbound loads for the operation to perform their tasks in a timely manner. Work with Inventory Specialist as it relates to inventory issues/pallets. Ensures the waves are completed in the Warehouse Management and Automation Systems to meet shipping appointments. Effective Door/Dock management with the operations and logistics teams. Communication to the operations team of any customer special requirements. Problem solve and troubleshoot issues with shipments (inbound and Outbound) timely. Check daily the loads awaiting pick up to ensure 100% match to SAP. Ensuring all systems are rectified/closed, data matches and transacted timely to avoid hung shipments, missed SLAs and inventory inaccuracies (in some cases escalating issues to correct party for resolution) Maintaining Customer Service levels to a 98% level

Self-motivator Team player Able to handle stressful situations. Read/Write in English Accuracy and attention to detail Knowledge of the daily Outbound reports Knowledge of PKMS & SAP is preferred. Follow all safety procedures (including wearing all PPE required)
