POSITION SUMMARY:
Marathon Petroleum Company LP’s subsidiary, Cincinnati Renewable Fuels LLC, has an Operator Technician position available in Cincinnati, OH.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sampling inbound trucks and assisting driversLoading railcarsMonitoring Utilities Wastewater SystemOperate control system and respond to alarmsHandle 20% caustic totesTank gauging and samplingIssuance of work permitsTroubleshooting equipmentBasic site security including permitter rounds, opening gates, and monitoring camerasEmergency response for spills, etcHousekeeping, minor maintenance, and other tasks as neededQUALIFICATIONS:
A high school diploma or GED is required.Basic computer, math, and verbal skills are required.Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift in all weather conditions is required.Ability to work overtime as needed is required.Ability to learn mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems to perform logistics tasks is required.Ability to learn basic maintenance skills is required.Must be at least 18 years of age.Successful applicants must be fit to perform the essential functions of the job and adhere to a strict Drug and Alcohol policy.Successful applicants will also be required to pass pre-employment testing.Upon employment, candidates are required to join the Employees’ Representation Association (ERA).Vocational technical training is preferred.2 years of equivalent work experience is preferred.5 years of stable work experience in a light industrial or commercial industry setting is preferred.COMPENSATION:Starting compensation will be $20.35 – $32.83 per hour, depending on experience.
