POSITION SUMMARY: Marathon Petroleum Company LP’s subsidiary, Cincinnati Renewable Fuels LLC, has an Operator Technician position available in Cincinnati, OH. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: + Sampling inbound trucks and assisting drivers + Loading railcars + Monitoring Utilities Wastewater System + Operate control system and respond to alarms + Handle 20% caustic totes + Tank gauging and sampling + Issuance of work permits + Troubleshooting equipment + Basic site security including permitter rounds, opening gates, and monitoring cameras + Emergency response for spills, etc + Housekeeping, minor maintenance, and other tasks as needed QUALIFICATIONS: + A high school diploma or GED is required. + Basic computer, math, and verbal skills are required. + Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift in all weather conditions is required. + Ability to work overtime as needed is required. + Ability to learn mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems to perform logistics tasks is required. + Ability to learn basic maintenance skills is required. + Must be at least 18 years of age. + Successful applicants must be fit to perform the essential functions of the job and adhere to a strict Drug and Alcohol policy. + Successful applicants will also be required to pass pre-employment testing. + Upon employment, candidates are required to join the Employees’ Representation Association (ERA). + Vocational technical training is preferred. + 2 years of equivalent work experience is preferred. + 5 years of stable work experience in a light industrial or commercial industry setting is preferred.
