JOB DESCRIPTION - This position is responsible for supporting plant operations, wherever deemed necessary. Potential tasks would be varied and will likely change on a day-to-day basis, whether that be through hands-on production assistance, reconciling monthly inventory, assisting with weekly payroll, ensuring cleaning schedules are maintained, or backfilling the office manager’s responsibilities as needed.

POTENTIAL TASKS Assist operations personnel, maintenance personnel and supervisors as neededEnsure full traceability of product codes, lot numbers, locations, and expiration dates by following established protocolProvide monthly inventory guidance, reviewing and reconciling book to physical count valuationsProcess weekly payroll for hourly colleagues per corporate payroll scheduleCreate, complete and close production records accurately and in a timely mannerGenerate PO requests for ingredients and expense items, coordinating with company buyers to secure and maintain necessary inventoriesPrepare, code and enter A/P voucher requests related to fixed payments, PO-generated invoices, and freight chargesScan, sort and electronically file documents relating to safety, environmental, and inventory compliance.Support Sales and Customer Service teams in providing quality service to customers, suppliers, and fellow colleaguesProvide proper documentation such as packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and trucking invoices as needed to various recipientsArrange freight for outbound LTL loads and warehouse locations and assist with dispatch duties when necessary, ensuring a healthy balance between unit capacity and cost savingsContinually assess inventory to ensure proper stocking, product availability, and timely delivery to customers.Utilize available tracking resources to accurately order inbound product and materials when requiredAnalyze available data on a daily basis and make informed decisions accordinglyBecome proficient in software as applicable (primarily Oracle, Sharepoint, and Teams)Other responsibilities as assigned by managementQUALIFICATIONS Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero injury culture and to understanding/following all company safety protocolExhibit consistent, prompt attendance and have access to reliable transportationProficiency in Excel and OutlookOracle/Word knowledge is a plus but not requiredExcellent verbal and written skills, as well as possess strong math aptitudeFlexible and willing/able to multi-taskMaintain a positive, respectful, and professional attitude at all timesSKILLS REQUIRED Strict adherence to confidentiality and excellence in all aspects of the positionAbility to prioritize and follow through with multiple tasks, taking direction from multiple sourcesDetermination to troubleshoot and identify appropriate resources to resolve concerns before they become issues or complaintsFamiliarity with accounts payable methodologyExperience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is preferredStrong computer skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word and ExcelMust be dependable, ethical and professionalSCHEDULE This is an hourly position. Shift is primarily days M-F but must be willing to work over (and possibly occasional weekends) if needed.Demonstrate initiative to work independently on given assignments while remaining flexible enough to work within team setting.EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENT All PPE will be provided by the plant.ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
