GENERAL DESCRIPTION 

​​ ​Operator III, Production primary responsibility is to safely blend finished good products following ChemTreat’s policy and procedure. ​​ 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES 

​​​​​Blend finished good products using hazardous and non-hazardous materials.  

​​Ability to safely operator a forklift.  

​​Opening blend tanks to sample finished good materials  

​​Maintain first past yield.   

​​Maintain and complete appropriate forms, logs, and data entry in computer system for process technology.  

​​Proficient skills to navigate Ignition , i.e., (run cat walk by yourself)   

​​Ability to read and understand a PBO (production batch order).  

​​Understanding of SDS sheets and proper handling of hazardous waste.  

​​Ability to take a sample and label properly.  

​​Ability to conduct an inventory cycle count.  

​​Ability to follow schedule and prioritize the shift's workload and providing direction to associates to ensure efficient operations.  

​​Ability to train as specified under ChemTreat's Quality Systems.  

​​​Bulk Operation: jockeying trailers, both bulk and LTL; ensure all bulk trailers are clean and inspected before loading   

​​Oversee and assist environmental company in the cleaning process of bulk trailers; bulk trailer inspection and damage reports; bulk delivery hose inspections and damage reports; bulk delivery hose inventory;    

​​Participating in bulk loading and trailer inspection meetings and DOT meetings when required   

​​Contributes in the bulk trailer cleaning process improvement meetings when required;    

​​Warehouse Management (Whs #2): Housekeeping; stock rotation; loading and unloading carriers when necessary; inventory transfer from warehouse to warehouse; staging and tagging material designated for lab-pack and   

​​Updating the report for QC; identification of slow moving material and updating the report for Manufacturing and QC  

​​Other duties as assigned.​

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

​High School diploma, familiar with OSHA and DOT regulation preferred​ 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

​​​Constantly required to sit and occasionally required to walk, stand, climb (includes stairs), balance, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch or crawl, and talk, hear, and smell 

​Constantly using hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, and computer keyboards.  

​Routinely required to reach with hands and arms, squat, turn/twist, or reach, lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 pounds 

​Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

WORKING CONDITIONS & ENVIRONMENT  

​​​​​This is a specialty chemical blending and packaging facility where hazardous materials are present.  

​​Will be subjected to moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, vibrations, fumes, odors, dusts, gases, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures and work space restrictions.   

​​Required to wear the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which may include: eye, hearing and respiratory protection, protective apron, steel toe shoes, gloves, hard hats, or face shields.  

​​The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud.   

​​Contact lenses may not be allowed in some areas.​  

​​​

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $25.24 - $29.50 USD per hour. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.

We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
