Summary of the PositionOperate machines to produce products, ensuring all safety rules are strictly followed. Inspect parts to confirm they meet acceptance criteria, and assist the line leader in material allocation, ensuring production runs efficiently.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform quality inspections, reading and understanding specifications, making necessary adjustments for high-quality output.Verify and complete job orders in SAP, ensuring accurate documentation and traceability.Review print specifications and resolve material setups to meet production requirements efficiently.Advise supervisors of quality issues, facilitating quick resolutions.Collaborate with production personnel to troubleshoot problems, ensuring smooth production flow.Manage and dispose of scrap accurately, completing non-conforming tickets to reduce waste.Maintain accountability for product quality and rework, encouraging continuous improvement.Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material needs.Observe machine operation, make adjustments, and perform in-process testing.Assist in machine setup, cleanup, and other production duties as needed.QualificationsTo excel in this role, you need integrity, motivation, dependability, and a willingness to learn.
EducationHigh School diploma or equivalent experience.ExperienceRequired: 3-5 years in medical environment companies with good documentation practices.Preferred: Experience in injection molding manufacturing or a related field.Language and Mathematical SkillsAbility to read and comprehend instructions, perform simple math calculations, and communicate effectively.Other SkillsProficiency in Word, Excel, and SAP systems is desirable.Physical DemandsAbility to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and perform tasks requiring physical activity.Work EnvironmentExposure to moving mechanical parts, noise, and indoor conditions.Personal Protective EquipmentSafety gear including lab coat, glasses, shoes, gloves, and hair protection.Our Mission is to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
