This role is part of Alcon's Supply Chain function, a team that manages the logistics, inventory management, and supply chain analytics for Alcon's industry-leading products to ensure products are delivered efficiently and effectively so that people can see brilliantly.
The Operator II, Warehouse & Distribution Operations (Para-Professional & Support Path), is primarily responsible for handling complex tasks to ensure efficient warehouse and distribution processes. You will optimize storage, manage material flows, and ensure safety at the Oak Grove Centre in Fort Worth, TX.
In this role, a typical day will include:
Handle complex manual or operational tasks to ensure smooth processesOptimize storage space and material flowsCoordinate and execute inbound and outbound logistics activities, including coordination with warehouses and other relevant partiesOperate equipment, making minor decisions as neededEnhance technical skills and problem-solving abilitiesAdhere to GxP regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required trainingSupport business performance through accurate task completion and commit to continuous improvement and regulatory complianceAssociates are responsible for meeting their individual job requirements and contributing to the overall compliance of the organization. Compliance with regulatory requirements and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential to our operationsWHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
