**GENERAL DESCRIPTION**
**** **** **** Operator II, Shipping ensures prompt and accurate handling of ChemTreat raw materials and finished goods.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITI** **ES**
+ Ensure that all inbound materials meet ChemTreat’s Purchase Order specifications.
+ Ability to safely operator a forklift.
+ Pull, stage, label, band and palletize freight as required.
+ Load and unload carriers with prepared or delivered freight.
+ Operate forklift, move drums, maintain stock, rotate inventory, and label containers.
+ Maintain inventories of warehouse-related items.
+ Maintain and complete appropriate forms, logs, etc. Complete appropriate data entry in computer system
+ Maintain contact with internal departments and carriers to insure prompt, accurate shipments.
+ Resolve any discrepancies with BOL and rectify any cancellations or expedite shipments.
+ Ability to navigate Warehousing app to move finished goods to desired locations in warehouse.
+ Understanding of SDS sheets and proper handling of hazardous waste.
**SUPPLEMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Daily inspection of forklift.
+ Assist in Inventory cycle counts.
+ Ensure work area cleaned and organized.
+ Other duties assigned.

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**
+ High School diploma, familiar with OSHA and DOT regulation preferred

+ **** Constantly required to sit and occasionally required to walk, stand, climb (includes stairs), balance, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch or crawl, and talk, hear, and smell
+ Constantly using hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, and computer keyboards.
+ Routinely required to reach with hands and arms, squat, turn/twist, or reach, lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 pounds
+ Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

**WORKING CONDITIONS & ENVIRONMENT**
+ **** **** **** This is a specialty chemical blending and packaging facility where hazardous materials are present.
+ Will be subjected to moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, vibrations, fumes, odors, dusts, gases, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures and work space restrictions.
+ Required to wear the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which may include: eye, hearing and respiratory protection, protective apron, steel toe shoes, gloves, hard hats, or face shields.
+ The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud.
+ Contact lenses may not be allowed in some areas.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $22.12 - $22.12 USD per hour.
