Position Title: Distribution FTE

Position Brand Description:

This opening is in the Distribution Warehouse, which is responsible for

order processing functions such as picking, packing and shipping

pharmaceutical orders to sales reps, wholesalers, and retailers.

Distribution Operator typically rotates through a variety of roles

related to performing these functions.

Key Objectives/Deliverables/Responsible:

Receiving/Shipping of materials, storage of material in appropriate storage locationsPicking, packing, preparation and shipping to customer orders, order processing in warehouse inventory system, cycle counting.Adhere to PDC Site safety policies and procedures and contribute to a safe work environmentAdherent to standard operating procedures and current Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure quality of productIdentify opportunities for operational improvementsFollow and execute policies and procedures impacting warehouse activitiesMeet appropriate goals for performance improvement as defined by area
Leadership.Maintain learning plan at 100% current.Constantly looking for improvements in productivity, compliance, and data accuracy

Basic Requirements:

Must have a high school degree or equivalent5-7 yrs of warehouse distribution experience is required.

Additional Preferences:

Experience working with an electronic warehouse management system (EWM) such as SAP, Exacta and RF scanners.Experience operating a variety of Powered Industrial TrucksDemonstrated accuracy and attention to detailMust be flexible and willing to be cross trained to perform multiple assignments.Must be willing to work overtime with little noticeMust be reliable and have a good work attendance historyBasic computer skills, with the capability to learn in more detail.Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environmentMust be willing to work a portion of the workday in a chilled environment (36-46F)Standing, lifting (up to 40 lbs.) and bending are required.

Plainfield Distribution Center- Plainfield, Indiana, reports to theSupervisor of Distribution Operations.Work Shift: 5 days a week, 8-hour days Sunday - Thursday, 11:15AM - 8:00PM

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$17.30 - $39.06

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
