The main objective of this role is to perform order processing functions such as picking, packing and shipping critical clinical trial finished goods (CTFG) from the Indianapolis Distribution Hub to domestic and international Clinical Test Sites, depots and hubs.
Key Responsibilities:
Unload, put-a-way, pick, pack and ship CTFG’s. This includes interaction with warehouse management system via a hand held RF device. Pack orders following strict validated packing requirementsComply with FDA, GMP, GDP, DOT, IATA, TSA, C-TPAT and OSHA requirementsEnsure training plan is current and completeUnderstand and accurately follow corporate and departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), local and federal laws and regulations, Lilly Ethics & Compliance requirements, and operational qualifications related to operator roleActively adhere to and engage in safety programs and policies within the area of responsibility Constantly look for areas of improvement in safety, compliance, data accuracy and productivityOther Responsibilities may include:
Ordering of warehouse consumablesSpecial ProjectsLabeling of productCycle CountingDestruction processesCommunication with freight forwarder personnelWaving of work to the Distribution Operations TeamSupport facility maintenanceSupport the creation of trainings, procedures, and improvementsSupport the investigation of local issues and errorsBasic Requirements:
High School degree or GEDMinimum of 6 months of experience in pharmaceutical warehousing and distributionQualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$17.30 - $39.06Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
