A Hydro Operator B/ Hydro Mechanic is a qualified operator who is responsible for normally operating one or more hydro plants in their area of responsibility. They shall be knowledgeable of the power plants, water impoundments, water conduits, and switching in their operating area, as prescribed by the Company. + A Hydro Operator B/ Hydro Mechanic directs the maintenance and construction/upgrades of facilities associated with hydro operations. Responsible for a mechanical maintenance repair shop or area including tools, equipment, supplies and spare parts supplied by the Company.
