Position Summary This position is responsible for safely operating multiple pieces of equipment on a liquid filling line which includes equipment changeovers, preventative maintenance, and quality verifications. Responsibilities Ability to understand and speak to production flow, processes, and metrics.  Set up, change over, and monitor equipment.  Involved in preventive maintenance (PMs) for assigned equipment.  Ensure the line is adequately supplied to meet production KPI's (Key Performance Indicators).  Maintain work areas and tools according to Visual Management (identifying abnormalities) and 5S Standards.  Maintain all required records.  Participate with safety, cost, quality, and productivity improvement teams.  Understand safety requirements (Job Safety Analysis, lock-out/tag-out, pinch points, PPE).  Understanding and conducting quality checks via measuring techniques/standards.  Able to follow written/visual instructions including Standard Operating Procedures and Standard Work  Able to troubleshoot, diagnose, and verbalize equipment issues to the line lead and/or maintenance.    Lean Manufacturing - assist in the continuous improvement culture and seek opportunities to eliminate waste.  Occasional training of other colleagues.  Other duties as assigned due to business needs. We we are looking for High School Diploma/GED or 0 to 2 years manufacturing experience, or mechanical experience.  Initiative   TPM/Lean Manufacturing experience is a plus.  Mechanical aptitude.  Good communication skills.  Problem solving skills.  Ability to follow and improve standard work procedures.  Decision making skills.  Organizational and computer skills.  Follow all prescribed Health, Safety and  Come join us! Work Relationships This is a normal liquid/bottle fill manufacturing environment. In a non-temperature-controlled environment.   Work Environment Weight: Lifting up to 60 LBS., with the ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time. Job requires: Leadership skills, Analytics, Self-direction, problem solving, attention to detail and communication Physical capabilities: Stretching, lifting, climbing, twisting, turning, standing, pulling, pushing, reaching and bending. Total Rewards Package The pay rate for this position is up to USD $20.00/Hr. per hour Please note that the pay rate provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
