Job Description SummaryResponsible for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production (i.e., machining, processing, assembly, or packaging) equipment including: -Operating machine tool, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards -Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods -Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products -Maintaining accurate daily production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis. This role is part of Alcon's Manufacturing function, a team that designs, produces and delivers innovative eyecare products to more than 140 countries through operational excellence and efficiency.

The Operator I, Production Technical Operations (Para-Professional & Support Path), is primarily responsible for handling manual and operational tasks in production, ensuring equipment is set up, operated, maintained, and troubleshot to meet product specifications, schedules, and quality standards. Specifics include:

• Handle manual or operational tasks as per guidelines to ensure smooth and efficient processes
• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment
• Ensure products meet specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards
• Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods
• Monitor output quality to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products
• Maintain accurate daily production records for performance analysis
• Review work orders, schedule resources, and monitor operations for alignment with business objectives
• Adhere to Good Practice (GxP) regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining documentation, and ensuring quality control
• Complete all required training and contribute to organizational compliance
• Commit to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance

Minimum Education

A Level / Equivalent Minimum PMR or equivalent And

Minimum Work Experience
