**Overview** **Grant Park Is Hiring a MACHINE OPERATOR !** **Hiring Immediately!** **Shifts Available:** **Shift : 2nd 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm** **Pay Rate : $18.17 to $19.84 - Paid Weekly** *** $1.00 shift differential** **(Monday - Friday)** **Benefits:** + Medical, Dental, Vision + Prescription drug coverage + 401K with a company match + New Hire Wellness Bonus (see plan details) + Healthcare and Dependent day care flexible spending accounts + Corporate discounts + **Text to Apply PTVE @ 97211** **Responsibilities** **Job Responsibilities:** + Consistently and safely operates machine/machines at or above standard levels of operation including waste, quality, efficiency and utilization. + Trouble shoot, identify and correct machine related problems through proper adjustments to various parts of the machine. + Completes appropriate paperwork, accounting for crewing time, machine time, and production quantities. + Able to inspect and recognize defective product and make machine adjustments to correct cause of defects. + Observes all housekeeping, standard work, food safety, and personal safety guidelines. + Support maintenance team and department during line change over and start-ups **Qualifications** **Qualifications:** + Ability to understand and follow SWIS (Standard Work Instruction Sheets). + Ability to deal effectively and patiently with both leadership and hourly associates and help train newer associates + Ability to work as a member of a team + Ability to set priorities and cope with several issues simultaneously. + Ability to work overtime as needed + Ability to successfully lock and tag out a machine once properly trained. **Pactiv Evergreen** is now a part of Novolex. **Novolex** is a leading manufacturer of food, beverage, and specialty packaging that supports multiple industries, including foodservice, restaurant delivery and carryout, food processing, grocery and retail, and industrial sectors.
