We are searching for the best talent for **Operations Technician II** to be in **Irvine, California.**
The Operations Technician is responsible for the production and assembly of medical equipment/devices according to strict quality and regulatory standards. This role involves operating equipment/machinery, conducting inspections, and ensuring that all products meet safety and performance specifications. Technicians work collaboratively with engineering and quality assurance teams to solve production issues and implement process improvements. Attention to detail, technical proficiency, and knowledge of manufacturing protocols are essential for success in this position.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Collaborate daily with production workers, supervisors, and management to support the production line.
+ Assist with implementation of process improvements, including qualifications and validations.
+ Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment.
+ Update documentation/procedures.
+ Record all equipment downtime, machine repairs, audits, and non-conformance events in the maintenance management system.
+ Understands and can communicate all processes and systems involved in the manufacturing process qualified in and updates manufacturing line boards as needed.
+ Conducts manufacturing document reviews, updates documents, and reviews with supervisor.
**Qualifications**
**Education:**
+ Technical career or equivalent work experience related to any of the following fields:, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Machinery, Electro-mechanics, Electronics, instrumentalist, Manufacturing, Medical Devices.
**Experience and Skills:**
**Required:**
+ Proven knowledge of process engineering principles related to medical equipment manufacturing is highly desirable.
+ Experience working with resource planning software ex. (SAP, JDE)
+ Ability to interpret 2D engineering drawings.
+ Knowledge of quality standards applicable to medical devices/equipment.
**Preferred:**
+ Strong statistical skills and knowledge of statistical software
+ Ability to work within an ISO structured quality system
+ Knowledge of engineered materials and fabrication methods
+ Good planning, multi-tasking, and project management skills
+ Proven track record of completing projects on time and accomplishing goals
+ Ability to function independently as well as part of a team
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills
+ Ability to Prioritize tasks in fast-paced environment
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office
**Other:**
+ This position is a lab-based, full time onsite, 5 days a week in Irvine, CA
+ Ability to travel up to 10%, domestic and international
**Additional Information:**
+ The anticipated base pay range for this position is $25 - $40 / hour.
+ The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
