Nestled on the shores of Georgian Bay, Midland offers the perfect mix of natural beauty and urban convenience, making it an ideal place to work, grow, and belong. **Primary Responsibilities:** + Learn to handle optics, read blueprints, and use measuring equipment + Assemble products according to provided specifications + Utilize calibrated equipment as part of the manufacturing process + Follow work flow instructions from Supervision/Group Leads + Use good visual acuity to identify imperfections in parts or assemblies + Follow all safety protocols and procedures + Maintain a clean and organized work area + Perform basic data entry and computer work + Share in the commitment towards a positive workplace culture **Qualifications & Experience:** + Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent + Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred + Strong verbal and written communications skills + Basic computer literacy and confidence using technology + Ability to understand technical issues and make sound decisions + Comfortable working with the metric system + Demonstrated mechanical aptitude + Self-motivated with a consistently positive attitude + Capable of working day or afternoon shifts and remaining seated or standing for extended periods _This position involves technologies regulated by the Canadian government’s Controlled Goods Program and the Contract Security Program.
