Your Role:
Leadership for a team of staff working within a production environmentEngages in problem solving and performance management within the businessAssist Supervisor and works in a lead technical capacity to maintain workflow in deptProvides training and operational support to the departmentMaintains high-quality work environment by sharing knowledge, experiences and motivationKeeps supervisor informed of potential and/or existing concernsLeads by example in performing core distribution job elements Participates in and supports the development and implementation of process improvement projects and leads test cycles to challenge current practicesUse technical knowledge of S-A products and acquired knowledge of state and federal regulations and S-A business practices to respond to inquiries Effectively uses reports and checks priorities to plan and coordinate orders to maintain high service levelsTroubleshoot problems within the departmentAssist with testing changes in systemic programs and operational processesAbility to analyze and maintain data within all applicable systemsAbility to identify and correct discrepancies between applicable systemsPerform quality checks or audits to ensure procedures are being followed correctlyMaintains orders, work areas and stock locations in a safe, clean, and organized manner.Reports unsafe or potentially unsafe hazards to any member of managementDemonstrate problem-solving and team building skills with the ability to work with a diverse group of people.Shift/hours - 1st shift, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, M-F

Vocational training/Associates degreeAbility to operate PCs, printers, RF scanner, pallet jack, selecting carts, packing equipment (tape machines, etc.), and various cutting instrumentsSAP, WMS, Word, Excel, Access, Clipper-ship experienceKnowledge of product flow throughout the packaging/warehousing processAbility to effectively communicate in a professional manner with all levels of staff both orally and writtenPrevious team leadership experience
