Operations Systems Coordinator
**JOB SUMMARY** This position is responsible for maintaining, monitoring and coordinating activities in the Warehouse Management (WM) and associated systems {i.e. Intelligrated Order Manager (OM)/System Monitor (SM), SUS, Cubitron, Transportation Management System (TMS), and Labor Management (LM)} to ensure operational efficiencies. Oversee the resolution of all system discrepancies. Perform effective and timely communications to respective associates and management as necessary. Perform all duties safely and accurately, and assist to meet set productivity goals. **RESPONSIBILITIES** + Accurately input and maintain item elements in Warehouse management system (WMS) and in the Order Manager system (OM) + Monitor and oversee the continuous inbound flow of product into the Intelligrated MHE (material handling equipment) using crystal reports and OM/SM system tools + Work on any systematic opportunities that arise during the wave allocation run. Help to identify and correct all issues that may arise during the outbound cycle + Tender outbound loads from Transportation Management System (TMS) to WM. Identify and address issues that may arise during the tendering and wave process + After the wave process, ensure maximum truck weight/cube and all logistic requirements for each truckload, including hazmat, reefer trailers for dry loads, day cabs, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point(HACCP), and any other request approved by transportation + Understand and monitor the inbound/outbound processes to effectively use Warehouse management system (WMS) + Collaborate with the warehouse operations management team to coordinate the most effective Warehouse management system (WMS) tasking work areas and task groups for the operation + Work closely with SCIM (Supply Chain Inventory Management) to best serve our operating companies by helping to align item elements across the region + Coordinate the execution of any special requests made by our customers or management + Work closely with other departments to research and resolve shipping issues + Ensure proper slotting through the use of various reports to maximize warehouse space and productivity + Review and communicate slotting, receiving, depal, and tasking opportunities with various shift supervisors and management + Support and assist in the coordination of the recalibration of the racking systems with the warehouse operations management team + Maintain rack labels + Maintain yard system configuration + Work effectively with immediate supervisor to prevent warehouse shrink (product loss) + Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with coworkers, and when dealing with associates at all levels + Provide periodic status reports to the supervisor + Responsible for the neatness and cleanliness of the assigned work area + Report any unsafe issues to the supervisor + Observe and enforce all safety rules in an effort to prevent accidents and injuries + Complete a pre-trip safety inspection on appropriate MHE equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to ensure that equipment is maintained (daily inspection) and clean; report repair or service needs to supervisor in an effort to prevent equipment damage + Operate MHE equipment in a safe and orderly manner in an effort to prevent accidents and injuries + Use warehouse computers and radio frequency (RF) equipment in a safe and professional manner + Support food safety policies, standard operating procedures, and prerequisite food safety control programs that meet legal and quality requirements and industry best practices as defined in our Food Safety Commitment documentation + Understand and comply with all applicable company policies (i.e. attendance, Code of Business Conduct & Ethics, Associate Handbook, etc.) + Comply with all applicable State/Federal laws, regulations, and policies (i.e. OSHA, HACCP, etc.) + Perform other warehouse duties, and accept additional responsibilities or special projects as requested. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. + Must be at least 18 years of age. + Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite required. + Crystal Report Writing experience preferred. + Proficient use of WMS, TMS or AS/400 preferred, or ability to learn and become proficient. + Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Must work independently with minimal supervision. + Organizational and time management skills are required. + Must have strong analytical skills and attention to detail. + Must pass a functional capacity test. **Education** High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. **Experience** + A minimum of two to three years of warehouse related experience is required. + One to two years of redistribution experience (or similar field) and/or training is required. + Advance knowledge of warehouse management systems is required. **Language Skills** + Must have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. + Must have the ability to read and write simple correspondence. + Must have the ability to speak effectively in one-on-one and small group situations. **Mathematical Skills** Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Must have the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. **Reasoning Ability** Must be able to work in a proactive manner, address issues, and solve problems by using previous education and experience in identifying appropriate actions. Problems will vary in complexity and there will not always be a clearly defined solution. Some solutions may require modifying past applications or creating a solution unique to the current situation, but within the regulations that would apply. Must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Job is primarily performed in an office environment with frequent time spent in the operations area. + While performing the duties of this job, the associate is occasionally exposed to fast-moving material handling equipment or other mechanical equipment in the operations area; the associate is also occasionally exposed to moving motor vehicles on the yard; all types of outside weather conditions (such as temperature, precipitation, and humidity) and vehicle emissions. + The associate is occasionally exposed to freezer/cooler warehouse environments including the temperature of -5 degrees. + The noise level in the office work environment usually is moderate; however, the noise level in the operations and yard areas are loud. **Work Hours** This is a full-time position. The incumbent must have the ability to work a varying schedule which may include shift work (days or nights), weekdays or weekends, and some holidays. The incumbent is required on a rotational basis to be on-call to support resolutions to system issues, typically while off-site. Work hours may vary or change based on operational and/or business requirements. **Travel** The position may require some travel to support RDC business needs.
