Operations Support SAP Coordinator
The Operations Support Coordinator provides administrative, functional, and technical support to the Business Unit, with a focus on enhancing ERP system performance in a food manufacturing environment. This role requires proven experience with SAP S/4HANA, particularly in modules such as Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), Quality Management (QM), Warehouse Management (WM/EWM), or Sales and Distribution (SD). The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of food production processes and industry-specific requirements, including food safety standards, traceability, and operational efficiency. This position plays a key role in ensuring SAP system functionality aligns with day-to-day plant operations and compliance expectations. **Employee Type:** Full time **Location:** TX San Antonio **Job Type:** Production Support **Job Posting Title:** Operations Support SAP Coordinator **Job Description:** **Schedule** : Monday - Friday: 8am - 5pm (Must work every last day of the month regardless of the day it lands on (night shift.) **Benefits:** Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with match, STD/LTD/AD&D/Life, HSA, FSA, EAP, Hospital Indemnity, Accident Insurance, Identity and Fraud Protection Plan, Legal, and Critical Illness. **Salary:** Based on experience and other qualifications: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour **Key Responsibilities:** + Strong experience in one or more of the following SAP S/4HANA modules: PP, MM, SD, WM/EWM, QM. + Solid understanding of food manufacturing operations such as **batch production** , **inventory rotation (FIFO/FEFO)** , and **traceability** . + Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., FSMA, SQF, BRC, ISO). + Integrate core modules to support key operations such as batch management, recipe/formula management, production planning, quality control, and lot traceability. + Partner with operations, QA, supply chain, and finance teams to improve ERP usage and efficiency. + Configure processes to support shelf-life management, expiration dates, allergen control, and GMP compliance. + Collaborate with technical teams for custom development needs (e.g., labels, reports, interfaces). + Support data migration, system testing, user training, and go-live activities. + Document business processes and provide end-user training specific to food production. + Provide ongoing SAP support and troubleshoot production issues with urgency. + Physical and systemic inventories of PSA’s (Production Staging Area) + Daily closing of process orders + Clearing out correcting COGI errors daily + Completing the Month End close activities and reporting by Midnight on Month End Day + Inform proper Team members when over applying materials or under applying materials to a process order. + Provide Finance and Operations with weekly status report in SAP **Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, Food Science, or related field preferred. + 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP, including at least **1 full-cycle S/4HANA implementation** in a manufacturing or food production environment. + Strong experience in one or more of the following SAP S/4HANA modules: PP, MM, SD, WM/EWM, QM. + Solid understanding of food manufacturing operations such as **batch production** , **inventory rotation (FIFO/FEFO)** , **HACCP** , and **traceability** . + Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., FSMA, SQF, BRC, ISO). + Excellent communication and documentation skills. **Preferred Skills:** + SAP S/4HANA certification. + S4P application + Experience with **SAP Fiori apps** and embedded analytics. + Knowledge of SAP Recipe Management + Familiarity with **Shop Floor Integration** , **weighing systems** , or **barcode/RFID technology** . + Shop floor transaction knowledge and understanding **EEO Statement:** Winland Foods seeks to recruit, develop, and retain the most talented people from a diverse candidate pool, and as a global company we believe our success is enhanced by fostering equity and inclusion in the workplace.
