Job Summary

The Operations Support Manager provides oversight and direction of operations which consists of supporting business lines (banking, lending and mortgage). The role manages operations back-office support services for their designated area. Key responsibilities include identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex problems, ensuring compliance with policies, and developing and implementing new processes to improve operating efficiency and ensure accuracy of workflow. Job expectations include overseeing day-to-day activities of staff.

The role will manage initiatives in collaboration with key partners across the organization. Successfully delivers on key projects that improve our customer’s interactions with the Bank and positively impacts the business plan and drives efficiency.

Pay Range: $73,625.80 - $117,801.27

 

Job Responsibilities:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Direct and oversee daily activities Manage staff to ensure productivity, accuracy, and compliance Coordinate resolution of complex or escalated issuesManage workload distribution, staffing levels, and production metrics to identify capacity needs and efficiency opportunities Manage the implementation of new processes, system enhancements, or procedural updates andensure adoption by staff Oversight of regulatory, audit, and compliance documentation and participate in reviews as needed Develop and deliver team training, mentoring, and guidance to build subject matter expertise and career development Create key performance indicators (KPIs), quality metrics, and exception reporting to drive accountability and improvements Manage departmental planning and contribute to strategic initiatives that the departmentoversees

ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.Promotes a positive and collaborative team environment.Fosters a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required Qualifications:

Education level required: High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent in Business and/or equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.Minimum experience required: 7+ Years of banking and 5 years of management experience in supervising a staff of individuals with various operational functions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in banking including regulatory and compliance requirements.Knowledge of federal and state banking regulations.Strong leadership and organization awareness skills.Technically proficient and ability to develop and run reporting in Excel, Access and Word.Excellent communications skills.Strong project management skills.Desire to contribute to and drive business strategy in light of changing technologies.
