 We have an immediate opening for an Operations Support Engineer (Electrical) at our aerospace location in Phoenix, AZ. The primary focus of this role is to support electro-mechanical and circuit card assemblies by testing and troubleshooting component levels.



Duties & responsibilities include:

Support, guide and mentor Operations and test personnelTroubleshooting hardware and process issues down to CCA (Circuit Card Assemblies) and component levelsResolve testing and production line issues (including suppliers)Conduct failure/root cause analysis and implement corrective actionPerform analog and digital circuit analysis, characterization and electrical signal modeling of electronics subsystems in simulationIdentify and instantiating circuit card and subassembly design updatesGenerate work instructions, test plans and data collection required to build and test electro-mechanical assemblies.Generate and maintain SAP work center and routings for active products.

Work Experience

The ideal candidate will have the following combination of education and experience:

Bachelor’s degree in STEM and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience OR In absence of a degree, 10 years of relevant experience is required.Electronics experience requiredExperience performing engineering support in CCA, or electronics assembly environment.Knowledge of printed circuit board and component function and fabricationExperience with SAP, Teamcenter, CAD design/review, Work instruction generation and supportExperience with test equipment, test automation, and test data collectionExperience with Test equipment introduction, qualification, troubleshooting and repair.Experience in applying Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods in achieving production yield improvements.Knowledge and experience proposing and implementing Engineering Change NoticesExperience debugging complex circuit card assemblies or electro-mechanical systems.SAP experience preferredMust wear static-control and personal protective equipment.Due to the nature of the work, you must be a US Citizen


Exempt Salary Range: $62K - $72K DOE
