Description We are looking for an Operations Support specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. This entry-level position is designed for individuals seeking mentorship and growth while playing a critical role in ensuring seamless order processing from placement to customer payment. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, showcasing exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize technology and processes to identify and resolve issues, ensuring smooth order workflows.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to manage product pricing, transportation needs, and account-specific requirements.
• Learn and execute order planning activities, ensuring accuracy and timely completion within operational systems.
• Coordinate order-related tasks such as shipment tracking, exception management, inventory reconciliation, and invoicing.
• Address order exceptions by problem-solving and collaborating with clients, service providers, distribution partners, and suppliers.
• Maintain accurate item-level data in company systems, including pack sizes, pricing, and commodity descriptions.
• Identify and mitigate service failures, such as late deliveries, to ensure minimal disruption to customer orders.
• Deliver outstanding customer service through proactive communication and prompt responses to inquiries.
• Monitor and communicate operational status updates to the team.
• Support ongoing process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Requirements • Strong customer service skills with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities to interact effectively with team members and external partners.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, for data management and reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with order processing procedures, inventory management, and shipping functions.
• Problem-solving skills to address issues and ensure continuous workflow improvement.
• Attention to detail and ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
