Operations Supervisor - Logistics and Personal Selection Program

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for the seamless execution of logistics operations, overseeing the shipment of approximately 1.5 million cases annually along with leading the growth of the Personal Selection Program. This role is crucial in fostering an inclusive and empowered work environment. **What You Can Expect** + Manage the end-to-end storage and shipment of Woodford Reserve products to customers and external warehouses, ensuring optimal inventory management, regulatory compliance, and coordination of external manufacturing and final delivery scheduling in partnership with Production Planning and Logistics Manager. + Strategically schedule and assign daily and weekly production activities for the Logistics and Personal Selection teams based on Bottling and Logistics schedule. Provide leadership, coaching, and training to drive team performance and professional growth. + Control labor and transportation costs, ensuring operations meet productivity targets and budget constraints. Maintain high standards for sanitation, quality, safety, and continuous improvement. + Coordinate intricate order shipments by preparing and filing commercial paperwork, planning with scheduling and bottling, scheduling carriers and customs brokers, and monitoring domestic, international, and personal selection orders to ensure data accuracy in all systems. + Ensure daily shipment transactions in SAP, including making necessary changes to orders for accurate invoicing and case goods inventory. Collaborate with Customer Service, Transportation, Brand team, Procurement, and Planning. Assist in maintaining accurate SAP records for all product movements. Research and reconcile inventory discrepancies. + Partner with corporate and plant Supply Chain teams to maintain optimal inventory levels, efficiently utilizing resources. Conduct cycle counts on raw materials and finished goods, reconciling differences with the production team. + Direct the Personal Selection Program from an operations perspective, overseeing sample shipments and liaising with the Production Planning and Logistics Manager, Brand Management, and Homeplace to meet program needs. Ensure all orders are filled, labeled, and shipped efficiently. + Assist co-packing efforts with external manufacturing by ensuring all labels are shipped. Lead the coordination of external manufacturing activities to ensure on-time order fulfillment, specifically maintain inventory levels on the Personal Selection Program volumes and finishing. + Maintain DOT, IATA, IMDG, and HAZMAT certifications, serving as the plant's point of contact and confirming appropriate shipping documents. + Review and submit payroll weekly, approve time-off requests, support the SAP Coordinator, and serve as backup for export FET responsibilities. Maintain FET tax-related records and ensure timely tax payments. **What You Bring to the Table** + Minimum of 3 years of experience in operational leadership in a high-volume environment. + Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships at all levels. + Strong communication skills and the ability to write clear and definitive procedures. + Ability to manage independently and complete assigned workload within established deadlines in a fast-paced consumer goods industry. + Proficient experience with ERP systems, specifically SAP, and other computer software. + Ability to work a flexible schedule to support business needs across shifts and weekends. **What Makes You Unique** + Experience with Salesforce and Google platforms. + In-depth knowledge of export documentation and customs requirements. + Proven experience in leading and implementing continuous improvement projects.
