This Operations Supervisor position is part of Weyerhaeuser's Wood Products Distribution Business, working under the guidance of the Stockton Site Operations Manager. This position provides leadership and supervision of the operations function (receiving, warehousing and distribution) on the assigned shift for the Distribution Center. The Operations Supervisor assists in leading the operations team; provides coaching, guidance, management and direction to the team in the world class distribution of building products. *Key Functions:* * Assists in leading a team of hourly warehouse associates and forklift operators. * Production plan and hand out production assignments * Provides coaching, guidance, management and direction to the team. * Provides strong leadership in safety, customer service, performance management, employee development and training, inventory management, and problem solving. * Assists in leading the safety effort - improves and reinforces the safety program and safety culture. * Works collaboratively as a member of the leadership team to continuously improve the operating procedures. * Provides superior customer service and excellent financial return to the company. * Develop and monitor operations plans and schedule and coordinate maintenance activities to meet schedules. * Works closely with the sales team to meet customer service expectations (e.g., scheduling order fulfillment and cost-effective delivery.) You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 5% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.
