Operations Strategist - GFS/A&F (Kansas City)

**Description**
The Operations Strategist is responsible for creating and implementing operational performance improvements in the business unit by identifying innovative development objectives related to strategy, initiatives, processes, workflows, and technologies. The Operations Strategist maintains exceptional brand quality and reputation through operational excellence of exceeding quality goals, standards, and employee and customer expectations.
+ Develop and implement operations initiatives to achieve operations strategy, business strategy, and business goals.
+ Review and ensure quality and compliance requirements based on industry and business needs in operational processes.
+ Ensure efficiency in operational processes and technologies.
+ Ensure process alignment with brand stakeholder (shareholder, client, partners, vendors, employees) needs.
+ Responsible for communicating operational processes in accordance with best practices in change management and communication channels.
+ Oversee and optimize administrative workflows, office procedures, and internal communications.
+ Manage scheduling, travel, and logistics for senior leadership and key team members.
+ Supervise administrative staff and coordinate cross-functional support.
+ Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
+ Maintain and improve systems for document management, reporting, and operational tracking.
**Strategic Operations Planning**
+ Partner with leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives aligned with business goals.
+ Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities.
+ Lead or support special projects, including process improvement, change management, and organizational development.
+ Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to ensure alignment and execution of strategic priorities.
+ Prepare presentations, reports, and dashboards for executive decision-making.
**Internal Communications & Organizational Culture**
+ Coordinate the submission of company and culture awards at local, regional, and national levels.
+ Lead planning and execution of events — including virtual, hybrid, and in-person formats — from ideation to post-event analysis.
+ Manage cross-functional coordination, logistics, vendor negotiation, AV/tech, staffing, and branding of events that support business goals.
+ Align event strategy with brand identity, client engagement, and employee experience.
+ Develop and implement internal communication strategies to ensure transparency, alignment, and engagement across teams.
+ Support leadership in crafting key messages, updates, and organizational announcements.
+ Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture through initiatives, events, and recognition programs.
+ Serve as a liaison between departments to promote collaboration and a unified organizational voice.
+ Monitor employee feedback and engagement trends to inform culture-building strategies.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor Degree and 4 years relevant professional experience.
+ Associate Degree and 6 years relevant professional experience.
+ 8 years relevant professional experience.
+ Demonstrated ability to work independently, demonstrating accuracy, reliability, organization, and problem-solving skills required.
+ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint is required.
+ Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels within an organization.
