Description We are looking for an experienced Operations Specialist to join our team in Englewood, New Jersey. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in ensuring smooth operational processes, maintaining supplier relationships, and optimizing logistics functions. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to both regional and global operations while driving efficiency and organizational success. Responsibilities: • Establish and maintain productive relationships with wholesalers, including negotiating competitive rates and forecasting future demand. • Oversee partnerships with local warehouses and third-party logistics providers, ensuring accurate inventory tracking and timely material deliveries for events. • Develop and implement streamlined operational processes, documenting procedures with clear and standardized guidelines. • Prepare detailed cost estimates, maintain accurate purchase records, and manage a comprehensive supplier database. • Coordinate inventory management activities to ensure optimal stock levels and seamless supply chain operations. • Collaborate with internal teams to align operational strategies with broader business objectives. • Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. • Ensure compliance with regional and global standards in all aspects of operations. • Support the planning and execution of logistics for large-scale events and initiatives. Requirements • Proven experience in business operations, logistics, or a related field. • Strong knowledge of managing purchase orders and supplier relationships. • Familiarity with contract pricing negotiations and forecasting demand. • Ability to oversee warehouse and logistics operations, including inventory management. • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. • Proficiency in preparing cost estimates and maintaining detailed records. • Strong communication and negotiation skills. • Knowledge of developing and documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs).
